“There’s the Buffalo!”

We are delighted to announce the opening of our 2024 exhibit entitled “There’s the Buffalo!” The exhibit consists of interpretations of Floyd County’s most noteworthy geological feature, Buffalo Mountain, in various media by local artists.

The exhibit opened on April 19, 2024 as part of Floyd County’s observation of Earth Day. It will remain open until the end of the year. When you visit the Gallery, be sure to peruse the Comment Sheet on which the artists have described their responses to The Buffalo.

Some of the items in the exhibit are for sale; the back page of the Comment Sheet is a Price List of those items. Please note that any pieces purchased are to be left at the Old Church Gallery until the exhibit closes in December 2024.

The Old Church Gallery offers great thanks and appreciation to the artists of our community who have shared their work with us so generously!
