Gallery baskets featured in Early American Life

We were very pleased to find the Old Church Gallery featured in the October, 2023, issue of Early American Life magazine. The article, “Native Basket Styles Return,” thoroughly researched by Roddy Moore, Director Emeritus, Blue Ridge Institute & Museum here at Ferrum College, presented a pictorial history of the stunning painted baskets crafted by local basket maker, Iowa Cockram Haynes.
