“Kindly Mirrors” Exhibit Publicized in Floyd Virginia Magazine

Our 2023 exhibit, Kindly Mirrors: Photography of Richard “Dick” Shank and Gertrue Vest Shank, is closing as of December 16, 2023, when the Old Church Gallery also closes for the season.

Floyd Virginia Magazine was kind enough to publish a great article (see below) by Ricky Cox about the exhibit in their Fall/Winter 2023-2024 issue.

In June the Citizens Community Show profiled this exhibit at our House Party where more than 100 visitors viewed these extraordinary images. Next year, the exhibit travels to the Montgomery Museum of Art and History and Radford University’s McConnell Library.

The Gallery will be re-opening in April 2024 with a new exhibit, “There’s the Buffalo!,” artistic visions of Buffalo Mountain.
