Description
The peach bands form the centers of the roses in this Whig Rose coverlet. Viewed from a distance, the alternating bands of navy and peach form their own patterns. This coverlet is in excellent condition.

This coverlet was passed down through the Harman families. C.W. and Margaret Harman both descended from Archelaus and Katherine Weddle Hylton, and Jacob and Christina Mock Harman. Descendants of these couples were known to have been weavers.
