Description

This Vaughn-Dunn Woolen Mill blanket was woven by an unknown employee using locally-sourced wool.  Three horizontal blue stripes decorate the top and bottom of the natural colored blanket.

Farm families from Floyd, Patrick, and Carroll Counties brought wool shorn from their own sheep  to the Vaughn Woolen Mill to sell or exchange for blankets woven in the mill.
