Description

This soft doll is sewn from unbleached muslin and stuffed with what appears to be old hosiery material. It’s facial features are drawn on the cloth and a bonnet may once have compensated for the lack of hair. The doll is dressed in bloomers that cinch at  the waist with a drawstring. Its dress is machine sewn out of a faded cotton print of white flowers against a burgundy background.  The dress is pleated at the empire waist and accented with lace trim.  A single button at the back neckline holds the dress closed.
