Description
The handle of this rib basket is unusual in that it has extra rods with figure-eight lashing which continues around an extra upper rod on the rim . This is both decorative and practical as the extra weaving protects the rim and handle. The bottom of the basket shows it has been well-used with staining and worn weavers.
