View the textile artistry of Mrs. Effie King Brown (1910-2012) with her vibrant bicentennial quilt blocks, late-life “English Thistle” masterpiece, and a range of needlework including knitting, broomstick lace, and crocheting. The exhibit also honors her family influences with works by her parents, Thomas Merritt King and Mattie Yates King.
