Description

Twenty-four blocks (10 1/4 inches square) with applique flower stems and leaves are interspersed with eighteen blocks of plain white cotton in this quilted bedcovering. Each of the applique pieces is outlined with quilting and embroidered with French knots (red for the bells of the flowers, green for the stems and pale yellow leaves). The plain blocks are quilted in channels. The quilt binding is a pale yellow sateen typically used for blankets.
