Oral History

The Gallery's "Floyd Story Center" is a cooperative effort with the Sociology Department at Radford University.

"Floyd Story Center" collects oral histories from the residents of Floyd County and surrounding areas. As recorded by Radford University students and community members, these first-hand accounts reflect the spirit of the times, and bring alive the rich history of our community. The Gallery looks forward to making more of this material accessible to the public, creating a library for some of the interviews, and assisting others to create personal, community or family stories on film.
